I made this game for the Pirate Software game jam 15. Due to finals and other personal stuff, i didn't really get finished
W,A,S,D to move
Mouse 1 to fire
Space to jump, and you can double jump.

i loved it xD 2 things because i didnt have long to play atm, but i could stand on the enemies head and not get hit, and also the start game buttons on the title/end screen i can't read in the browser and same with the ones i guess its for what the potions are? i figured they were hp as i gained some back, but it was all really blocky text to read.

Yeah, the standing on enemies was something i was planning on trying to fix, but with only 2 weeks, it kind of got put on the backburner.
As for the text, I'm not sure why it's unreadable. I originally tested the upload on my laptop and on there when I played it, it opened the game in a new window, and everything was readable, But testing again on my desktop, I see what you mean. It just lets you know what you've picked up. There's only 2 items right now, a yellow speed increase potion, and a small hp potion.
My guess is the textures are so compressed in the tiny browser window that the text just becomes mangled.
Edit: I updated the viewport dimensions on the project page and that seems to have resolved the issue. You should also be able to play the game in full screen.
